    UK flightplans

Where on earth have the UK flightplans gone?

    Thanks

    Re: UK flightplans

I appreciate Uk flightplans were previously sporadic at best but as Pilotman said "where indeed have all the UK flightplans gone?" The coverage of main and smaller airports has dwindled to next to nothing (even transatlantic flights) - has the source been cut??

    Re: UK flightplans

I emailed flightwise a few weeks ago and they said the gateway from the FAA had changed and as a result changed the gateway for the UK based flightplans or something. As a result you can only see American traffic. They said they were trying to work around the problem but they didn't think they'll be a solution for it. It looks like the UK flightplans have gone for good but I hope I'm wrong. It would be nice to know if there is any more information as the email I received was a few weeks ago.

    Re: UK flightplans

Just raising this issue once more - there is a Stateside competitor site that retains (some) European data/plans. Are they paying for that privilege or have exclusive rights??
Will we see the return of that data here?

    Re: UK flightplans

We hope to have an announcement about that in the next few weeks, so hang in there :) Radar data from the UK and Europe is still restricted at the present time, so no one is currently publicly displaying radar-based data...

Any news on the announcement? FlyteComm still show limited UK flights.
